This 100% alpaca cardigan with zip is handknit from "superfine" quality alpaca that has been naturally dyed. Each piece is a unique creation.

This cardigan was hand knit by artisans from Artesania Sorata, a certified Fair Trade organization, and each piece is signed by the artisan who knit it.

Note: As these are handicraft products, they may vary slightly from the picture displayed. All the colours we use are naturally dyed except for the blues. We dye the fibers by hand using such traditional and natural ingredients as walnut leaves, thola and tara-tara, as well as the renowned insect dye cochineal for the red tones. We hand dye all of our yarns in our workshop using a variety of techniques to acquire a wide selection of colours and tones. Our years of experimentation have resulted in a wealth of knowledge and range of colours of which we are very proud. The natural ingredients that we use for dying vary depending on environmental factors: such as time of year, rainfall and soil.
